Vancity

ConeHouse worked with Karacters, an award-winning studio of DDB Vancouver, to create a brandsite for Vancity. They wanted to reflect the spirit of the organization better through its look and feel. Vancity says, "Now our brand identity expresses the values found in The Vancity Story. This site helps us to align our look and feel with the way we work."

vancity_intersection_m.png As work on a core brand document, "The Vancity Story" took shape, stakeholders at VanCity realized that its brand and visual identity, including the logo, needed an update.

A refreshed identity communicates that Vancity has knowledge, expertise and sophistication, and that that they are open, inviting and welcoming at the same time.

Karacters provided the concept and the ‘look’ of the site, overall project management and creative direction. They consulted on the development of the final site architecture, and supplied original artwork files along with Interim Standards Guidelines.

Cone House supplied the site map/architecture, technical communication, all final content planning and creation for each page including resource gathering and copywriting, as required. ConeHouse was also responsible for final site building, programming and quality control testing.

Vancity hosts the public-facing site, with several levels of user security for in-house staff and outside suppliers.
